This is an informational English translation of our Aviso de Privacidad. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version governs, as required under Mexican law (LFPDPPP).
- Identity and contact of the data controller. PACTUS (“PACTUS”, “we”) is a B2B sales agency offering prospecting, sales closing, and commercial advisory services in Mexico and abroad, and is responsible for the processing of your personal data under Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). You may contact us at contacto@getpactus.com with any questions about this notice.
- Personal data we collect. Through our website getpactus.com, we collect the following data when you voluntarily provide it: first and last name, company name, email address, phone number, and the content of any message you send us, whether through our contact form or when scheduling a free commercial diagnostic. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we only collect your email address. We also use Google Analytics to gather general statistics about visits to our site, such as visitor counts, most-viewed pages, and traffic sources; this tool uses cookies but does not collect information that personally identifies you. We do not collect sensitive personal data.
- Purposes of processing. Your personal data will be used for the following primary purposes, necessary to provide the service you request: responding to your contact or diagnostic request, providing you information about our prospecting, sales, and commercial advisory services, and following up on your request. Additionally, and only if you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your email for the secondary purpose of sending you informational and marketing communications about PACTUS. You may opt out of this secondary purpose at any time, without affecting your relationship with us, simply by not subscribing or by unsubscribing through the link included in every email.
- Sharing of data with third parties. To operate our website and services, we share certain data with the following third parties, who act as data processors on PACTUS’s behalf: Hostinger, for website and email hosting; Brevo, for sending our newsletter to voluntary subscribers; and Google, through Google Analytics, for statistical traffic analysis. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for purposes other than those stated here.
- International transfers. Brevo, the platform we use to send our newsletter, processes subscriber data on servers located in the European Union. Google Analytics may process browsing data on servers located outside Mexico. By using our site or subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to these international data transfers, carried out solely for the purposes described in this notice.
- Workshop, course and training participants. When you register for or take part in the workshops, courses and other training activities organized by PACTUS, we collect your full name, WhatsApp number, email address, and country and city of residence; your previous sales experience, what you hope to achieve with the activity and how you heard about it; your bank transfer or deposit receipt (name of the payer, bank, date and amount), without requesting or storing card numbers, passwords or banking credentials; and information about your participation, such as your attendance, your contributions and, where applicable, your answers to satisfaction surveys. The primary purposes, which are necessary for your participation, are: to register your enrollment and confirm your spot; to contact you by WhatsApp or email to send you payment details, confirmation, the access link and session reminders; to verify your payment and, where applicable, issue the corresponding tax receipt; to deliver the activity and record your attendance; to record the sessions and share the recording with the people enrolled in the same activity; to prepare and send your certificate of participation; and to answer your questions and requests. Only with your authorization, which you may grant or decline using the corresponding checkbox on the registration form, will we also use your data for the secondary purposes of sending you information about upcoming PACTUS workshops, courses and services, inviting you to answer satisfaction surveys, and preparing internal statistics that do not identify you; declining these purposes does not affect your enrollment or participation, and you may withdraw your authorization at any time by writing to contacto@getpactus.com. Sessions are recorded in video and audio, and you will be notified at the start of each session; the recording may include your display name, your image if your camera is on, your voice and your chat messages. Recordings are shared only with the people enrolled in the same activity and are not published on social media, websites or promotional materials; if we ever wish to use an excerpt in which you appear for promotional purposes, we will first ask for your express and separate authorization. If you prefer not to appear, you may keep your camera off, change your display name and participate through the chat, without this affecting your certificate. For these activities we rely on the following data processors: Google (Forms, Sheets, Meet and Drive), Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) and Hostinger (email), which may store information on servers located outside Mexico. Payment-related data is kept for the period required by tax regulations; registration and participation data, for up to 12 months after the activity ends; and recordings, for up to 6 months after the activity ends; afterwards, they are deleted or anonymized. We do not collect sensitive personal data in these activities either.
- Your rights (ARCO rights). Under Mexican law, you have the right to access, rectify, cancel, or object to the use of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, send your request to contacto@getpactus.com, including your full name, the right you wish to exercise, and, if possible, an official ID. We will respond within the timeframes established by the LFPDPPP.
- Cookies and tracking technologies. This site uses Google Analytics cookies for statistical purposes, to understand how visitors use getpactus.com and improve our content and services. These cookies are not used for advertising purposes or to identify you individually. You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings, though this may affect some site features.
- Changes to this notice. We may update this privacy notice at any time to reflect legal changes, changes in our practices, or new service requirements. Any update will be published on this same page, along with the date of the latest revision.
